Kevin is an experienced legal and finance professional with experience managing the evolutionary process of a company. Kevin can take on and execute unique initiatives and projects across the spectrum of challenges middle market companies might face, including efficiency initiatives, acquisitions, new products or capital formation.

Prior to founding AmpliFi Capital, Kevin practiced law at Kutak Rock LLP focusing on the financial services industry and general corporate finance. His experience ranges from mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, private equity, structured finance, commercial lending, securities regulation, banking regulation and corporate governance. Kevin started and lead Kutak Rock’s national fintech practice group. Before joining Kutak Rock, Kevin worked for US Bank’s Wealth Management business facilitating and leading strategic planning initiatives, acquisitions, fintech joint ventures and product development. Much of his focus was on financial innovation and disruption.

Kevin has also held various other positions outside the financial services industry including a business analyst for a young pharmaceutical company, roles in compliance and operations at the sixth largest U.S. independent broker-dealer, research analyst for an educational platform for start-ups and co-portfolio manager for small equity funds.

Kevin holds a BA in Accounting and Finance, a Master’s in Business Administration and a Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas. Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota and Nebraska (currently inactive). Before joining Kutak Rock, Kevin obtained a Certified Public Accountant® license (currently inactive).
